Monte Coon strikes AGAIN!!! - 04/22/10 01:49 AM
I bought my 2008 from Monte and Gabe 2 years ago in July.
Recently I had a mishap w/ a utility trailer and
Boogered-Up the tailgate.
After 2 estimates from "other repair shops" I had estimates
up to $2200.00 for a replacement using my usable parts
such as hinges, locks, handle, and badging.
I decided to do it myself. I called Monte and arranged
to pick up the blank tailgate assembly to take home.
Monte had already touched base with his body shop and
they offered to paint it (it comes painted in black primer) for a very reasonble price.
At the body shop I was introduced to Johnny who was extremely
helpful and further offered to swap my usable parts over again at a very reasonable price after his shop painted it.
I picked up my new tailgate today and all I can say is WOW!
Purchasing a new car from Monte and Gabe was a great
experience 2 years ago. But after working with Johnny
in the body shop and seeing that he went above and beyond
the call of duty, Moritz has another Customer for Life
as long as Monte is there.
You can buy a Chev almost anywhere...
It's folks like Monte, Gabe and Johnny that make the
difference.
Oh, C***gs Collision in GV should be ashamed of that estimate. I will never set foot in that shop again.
