Sold a car to Ted Nugent Today

I got a call from Big Jim today apparently he's Ted Nugent's right hand man when it comes to taking care of chores like buying cars. It looks like I'm going to close a deal with him tomorrow on a 2008 Malibu for Ted's son Rocco to take to college. The best part about the whole deal beside Big Jim being a hoot to deal with is Ted and his band will be at Billy Bobs on Aug 2nd and he's going to hook a couple of us from work up with a private meeting with the band and back stage passes. I'm also going to have Moritz provide the band with a couple of Suburbans for them to get around town while they are in Ft Worth. I thought the whole deal was pretty cool.

I met him about 17 years ago when he stopped by our archery shop on the way to a hunt in South Texas. He was one of the nicest, most down to earth folks I have ever met. Most famous people are not, but he sure was.

Buddy of mine from Midland was home on leave while we were in Iraq. Ted had played a concert there in Midland. Anyways, long story short, Ted walked up to him, and started the conversation that lasted till Ted almost missed his flight. Ted for Pres.!!!! Awesome dude!

Ya I figured the worst thing that could happen letting him use the Suburban would be having them bring it back with a little blood on the hood from a buck he stalked the morning after the concert. Does anybody know if he's into fishing or is he strictly a hunter?

My boss is a big time traditional long bow hunter and can't wait to meet him too.

Saw him about 10 years ago, when he still lived in Michigan, on a fishing show on his personal lake with some celebrity .... maybe Hank Parker (I can't remember). He had a BC PanteraII with his signature zebra stripe finish! He didn't look real proficient handling his tackle though. Also saw his recent reality show with the contestants fishing in a pretty good size pond/lake. So he does fish but he aint on the same level as he is with the bow, pistol (loves his 10mm Glock), or for sure the guitar!

Saw him at Billy Bobs last year, great show!

I think he is a top level badminton player as well, see if you can get into a rough/tough game of badminton with him.
