Lake Murray kayak fishing for smallmouth bass

A buddy and I went up to Oklahoma to chase smallmouth on Lake Murray. Was a fun trip! No monsters but just some good fighting little smallies. I plan to head up to Lake Texoma later this week to try and catch some around Eisenhower state park. Last time I went I only caught one. So after some practice on lake Murray maybe I will have some better luck. Here is some video from that trip.

Thanks guys! It was a fun trip. i can’t wait to go back cause no there are some bigger small mouth there. Maybe a spring time trip is in order.
