The wife and I took a trip down to Port Aransas back in Sept to get some beach time and some fishing in. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time (Roy's Bait & Tackle) and got an invite on a fishing trip down on PINS with some of the most prolific offshore kayak fishermen that I know of. Anyway, the bite was tough but managed my best king.

Solid fish and great release. All I could think about though was all the handling of the fish while it was still in the water. I was just waiting to see a shark come up and take your hand.

It'd sure be tough paddling back one handed!!
