Will gators damage fishing in ponds? Lake El Butto has two residents, moved in from the nearby creek. 5 footer and 3 footer. Homeowner's association claims that animal control will only get them if they are 6 feet or bigger. Fishing has been super slow there of late.

I've always heard the first thing gators will clear out of a pond are turtles. They'll eat fish too though.
It might work to give a call to your locakl game warden and have them removed as "nuisance" gators.
If the city or state won't do anything, the HOA can likely hire a private trapper to come trap and relocate them. That is how it works in Louisiana, at least.

They will clean out snakes as well. 3 footers are okay, but any bigger I would get them out.

Haven't seen snakes in a while, which is just fine by me. Still lots of turtles though.
