No consumption ban. All water and many of the fish come from lakes Lewisville and Grapevine. Some crappie, more sandies, and catfish

The fish are fine to eat from there. The entire river has good fishing just as Rudy said above for many species.

I don`t know about 635 & GBTP but there is GOOD access at W Hebron Pkwy bridge where is crosses over the Elm Fork flowing south from the LL dam.Plenty of accessible Bank fishing or Yak fishing water.

The elm fork has excellent populations of spotted bass as well. Plenty of hybrids have been washed down from Lewisville, so the river has hybrids as well all up and down the entire elm fork. Some BIG ones. Good black bass too.

It sure does! Not to mention some magnum sandies. The biggest sandbass I have caught have came from here. Several 16+ inch ones.
