Does anyone know of some ponds in the Mesquite, Sunnyvale, Southeast Garland area to fish?

There's one on NW drive in Palos Verdes just west of Belt line. Never fished it but looks OK from the street. Another in Samuel Farm off Hwy. 80.

I use to fish Palos Verdes years ago, don't think I ever caught a bass but lots of catfish. There are decent size ponds/lakes in both Stone Canyon and Stoney Creek in Sunnyvale that my son and his buddies fish sometimes. They've caught some 2-3# pound bass before.

Mesquite city lake off galloway and Valley creek off pioneer are both good for catfish.

City lake pond is definitely good for catfish and small perch, fish the north side under the trees for cats during early and late hours then out by the fountain during midday.

Small bluegill will line up under the little fishing docks and annihilate bread balls like piranhas for your kids.

Yes it's a great lake to take the kids.
