Anyone know of any good spots around me I'm in godley tx but close to cleburne, blum, joshua, burleson, granbury, acton...

Thanks for the welcome! Pretty new to texas only been here about 2 years..been out the past couple days to Nolan river by Rio Vista and Bryon Stewart park in cleburne and and went behind the dam on granbury...tried chicken liver worms Chad and lures...fished on bottom and with bobbers and never once had a single nibble! Don't know what to do!

Any run that is a few feet deep will have sand bass most all days at least in the morning.

That's another thing...I've never are bass...nobody are it where I'm from...but I do wanna try it!

My old man lives in Godley. There's quite abit of stock tanks on people's property. If you ask, there'sa 50/50 chance they'll let you fish. If not, here's a list of spots on the area.
Whiskey flats under bridge on 377 just north of 1187.

Mountain valley ponds in Joshua (private)
