crawfish spots for trapping

ok... just got my bait in for the traps and need some decent areas around DFW, currently in the colony... but willing to drive.
If anyone wants some beef melt, hit me up and you can have some for whatever you want... can use as cut cat bait. had to order it by the case and my freezer is gonna be slammed full after i break down the case... so feel free to have some.

I've been considering doing this as well. Mind if I ask what kind of traps you are using? Sorry I'm not of any help for locations

Look for any wetland type area, that usually holds water or any slow running creek. I've always done well in locations like these.

I made all of them myself.
also picked up a case of beef melt for bait. super cheap good bait.

Where did you get the beef melt? I do a lot of crawdad trapping in south central Texas. We set out in little ponds (slews) by rivers or creeks. Every time the river or creek floods, it resupplies these areas.

Ordered it from a local butcher shop.
