DFW Bank Fishing with Fly Rod

I normally spend my time over in the Fly forum. I recently started spending every other weekend in DFW (Irving specifically). Can I get any recommendations on waters that have bass and bluegill, but also open enough banks a fly rod could be used? Any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.

In a month or so the creeks will be full of sandies. It's a great time to fly fish. Just keep a eye out on bank fishing section and you will know when the run starts.
