A lot of that stuff is private.

It's private if you are an adult, if you are a kid, or a parent with small kids no problem

What if you act like your 12?

Any idea what canals in Coppell he might be talkin about? Andy Brown park or that stuff off MacAruther with the nice houses all around them?

Hear a lot about canals in LC but not really in Coppell.

The ones close to the library run through the residential areas, pretty good fishing there no one gets run off, its when you go further north closer to parkway there is a paranoid Korean lady that calls the cops on everyone. With Denton Creek being soo high the real bite is going on where the creek that goes under the bridge just north west of the aquatic center and intersects north of the bridge, there are all kinds of fish running up it to get out of the Denton Creek current, there is a trail that runs north of the bridge on the east side that will get you access.

Wasn't talking about a specific spot, more of looking for good spots in the canals. I talked to a cop the other day who said he has no problem with it and that he stopped someone there recently who pulled out a 28 pound cat. Had pics to prove it. That was at MacArthur and Allen.

Wow 28lb cat!

Blue cat I assume?

People would be surprised the number and types of fish in these urban canals. I have caught flat heads, blues, sandies and of course channels and LMB and crappie etc.

I mean you name it I have caught it from a urban spot at least once.

The floods like earlier this year move those fish all around and they are eager to stake out new turf.

Anyways... good luck man. Post up how you do.

If you wanna keep it on the down low shot me a PM.

You'd be just as well off exploring and finding spots. Every single person I've met there has told me that the floods have mixed a lot up. Previously good spots are cold and vice versa. You can always go to spots that will always produce like underpasses, places where a canal or creek opens up, etc...
