Red Hot Crappie on a Picture Pefect Day

Hit a local urban lake with TFF'er Chiprat on a perfect late autumn afternoon. Went Crappie hunting, and suffice it to say we found em! Slab after slab for pretty much 3 solid hours. 40 in the boat, at least that many throwbacks.

Blue/white jig on 16th oz jighead for me, and purple, and chartreuse/orange combos for Chiprat. Fish 10-12 ft down, holding tight to cover.

It was a Blast Rudy, and the SS Chiprat (AKA, Reel Slow) took us anywhere we needed to go. next time we will bring more Stringers... lol for the ones that got away.
