Is it typical for rates to go up when's there has been no claims and everything paid on time.

I called and the only explanation I can get is the rates in your area went up.

not sure if its a great deal or not, but im Paying $540 a year thru Progressive on my Bass boat.

In my experience, rates auto, boat, house, go up after you have spend a year or two with your provider. If you are not shopping, you are getting screwed.

Shop around, see what they can do.

my centerconsole is 350/yr @ progressive. 3rd year with them, and the rate only has gone up 15$


My house and cars though went up 800 this year with no claims or changes... so im shopping

It's called the theory of "We got you by the Ying-Yang" or "They Got Their Back Turned, So Let's Fleece Them"

If you really hound them, they will tell you their "reinsurance rates" went up....this is double talk for, we take all the money you give us and pass the insurance liability to a third party via a premium. That is one reason (of many) insurance is a big ripoff. Yep, just go get the deal of the day, insurance is not going to pay off anyway.

$146 a year for my Seaark 1872 CC for full coverage with Worldwide.. I'm happy.
