Some paints are heavier than others and you can add some clear in to help make it fluff better. I hope that I am understanding your clumpier wording?

That makes alot of sense and yes you did understand that right! I could of said thicker...lol...
I do have a glitter top coat that has clear would it be wise to mix that or just plain clear?
Thats what I'm am doin I am dipping white then dipping glitter clear so if i mix it would produce same results but maybe thicker !!!

Your doing it right and no some of the glitter would be lost in the paint so keep separate. Only time you may want to think about glitter in the paint is if you dealing with candy colors or transparent colors so you can still see glitter in it.
It would not be the same.

I have been doing a study on it the last few days, but have not put it to use yet. But the web site TJ's that Skip was talking about is great on painting jigs. That was on topic painting jigs just a few days ago.

Absolutely TJ' s is a very good site and he's a good guy to boot! For buying somethings he's the best for the regular jig tier! As long as your not buying pounds of paint!

The white is thicker, I use a small sieve to apply the white with and I added some glitter to it. It seems to help keep it from running while baking and you apply a lighter coat. I have never had a problem since I added the glitter

A friend owns a PC Business and I got a lot of samples from him. The best was Tiger Dryloc Wheel line in RAL 9010 which I could use as is. Nice white and very durable (it is designed for Truck Wheels) Nice coating as it has built in primers that allows for recoating (read as tap coating). Was great while I could get it, but his customer wanting that color finally decided to change to a different color to make it easier to spot reworked wheels.

Thus, I got tired of messing with white and made my own mix and ended with 2 based on HF white which is economical and readily available.

Plain White
2 parts HF White
3 Parts 200% Clear

Pearl White
2 Parts HF White
1 Part Pearl Embossing Powder (actually looks like silver powder in the Jar)
3 Parts 200% Clear
