Skip inspired CDL hen saddle

I have been hand tying my own jigs for a while and haven't really shown them here. I get most of my chenilles and feathers from Skip and jigheads from Red gun. Skip posted a pic of jig with coq de leon hackle and got me inspired to copy it

The bottom one got hit last weekend. I think I got this one when he's about to spit it, no throat pic but barely got this one on the lip.

Like the weaves, something I always struggle with.

I wasn’t easy for me either but once I got the hang off it, it was simplier than I thought.
I wasted several inches of chenille for sure, and I still mess up today.
