I just came back from down there Rick. When were you there? I Didn't take the boat this time, but plan on it the next time. I still managed a few sharks off the piers.

Awesome Trent!!!! Sharks rule!!!! We we're there Aug 2nd thru the 7th buddy and it was a blast. Wish I woulda known you we're there! We pulled in late the first night and by the time I got my boat launched and the groceries and what not unloaded it was like 1:00 in the mornin. I set my alarm at 6:00 a.m. so I could get up and check the weather, but my wife turned it off cause she said I wasn't getting up. At about 8:30 or so my wife comes into the bedroom and says " babe there is some men outside in a boat hovering around our boat ". And I knew he was going to be there but I didn't know exactly what day we we're going to get to meet up because of family comin in and all, but anyways I got to the winder and looked out for a bit and then threw my arms up in the air and yelled " IT'S HURRICANE " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't get the dern winder opened fast enough, bout ripped it off the tracks!!!!!!!

We meshed schedules a little. I was there 4-8th. Would have been nice to know you and Paul were down there, could have met up somewhere. Glad ya got on some fish, I always have a good time down there. September/October are my favorite.

It was way cool, I've been going down there the same time for several years now and it never seams to disappoint.
I have never seen the bait so plentiful, its always around, but this was off the chain.
I know how much Rick enjoys catching bait, I am surprised they got him to do anything else.

It was just miles and miles of jam-packed menhaden as far as the eyes could see, and we didn't even need a fishfinder shot but I snapped me one anyways!!!
