Cowdog was on point! Lewisville 8-5

Got a late start this morning (fished with wife)and didn't get to our first hole till 8:30...drifted a long point from 35 to 20 ft and caught 8 eaters. My cowdog wanted some bigger fish so we went lookin... He found some gooduns on a 32 ft flat next to 45 ft ledge. Planer boards started smokin and we hammered em! Ended up with 25. All fish caught on Gizzard bombs and released to fight another day! Hell of an August!

Glad u made it back safe Curtis! We can chase em any weekend Amigo! August is usually blazing hot, no wind and pretty tough month for blues but this whole year has been a crazy. I was going to rig up for gar for a bit but as long as I'm catching a few gooduns here and there i can't stop chaising em. We could see if Tom has a Saturday or Sunday available. That way if the wind isn't blowing he can put us on some scaled fish. Either way I'm game brother!
