Punch Bait Holder

What's the best hook (holder) for dipping in punch bait?

Treble hook is about all it will stay on.

If you're using punch bait a #4 or #6 treble hook will work. If you're using dip bait a treble hook with a sponge or tube is what you will need.

I use J hooks with the baitholder tubes. They hold dip bait and punch bait just fine as long as your bait is the right consistency. Should be like peanut butter.

Use Little Stinkers plastic bait lure to fish Stubby's Carolina rigged.

Bob Landry has it correct. #4 or 6 treble hook. and Mr. Whiskers Blood or Cheese bait. Also some soured wheat of maise helps alot.

Treble hook, wrap a little Christmas tinsel around the shank and tie it, it helps some.
