rebuilding ABU's- who does that?

I remember TurboFred used to rebuild Abu's, but he doesn't look active on the forum anymore.

who else does this for side money?

What do they do when they rebuild them? How much does it cost?

To the best of my memory he charges 15 to take'em apart and clean them. If they need parts, bearings, drag washers, etc thats extra for the parts. When you get them back they are as smooth as new.

Reel is 100% disassembled and ultrasonic cleaned and reassembled with proper lubrication.
