Richland Chambers 2/7/17

The bigger fish came out to play today and the Group from Hamilton hammmered them. In addition to a couple of double digit fish, we had a Slot Fish and kept 62 Eaters. All on DK's Blood Punch Bait in the timber on the Richland Arm of the Lake. Still have a couple of February Openings if anyone wants to take advantage of the WINTER SPECIAL OFFER! Nice mess of fish caught on punch bait,good job

Was able to get a Dad/Daughter Trip in on Wednesday AM before the Front hit, winds shifted & got strong and we cut our trip a little short. Still managed 37 keeper Cats and a BIG One for a picture and released! Tomorrow (Friday) is a WIND OUT as the Seniors decided they didn't want to battle a 20-25 MPH Wind. (I'm glad they didn't insist on trying ) Saturday looks WINDY also but the hardy twosome want to fish so we'll find a cove or creek channel hopefully protected from the South Wind and catch some Cats!

Finished the week with a Saturday AM trip with a group from the Woodlands. (James has a second home on RC and the plan was to catch enough for an Afternoon Fish Fry ) We found almost all our fish on a bend in the Creek Channel in 27'FOW. All fish caught on DK's Blood Punch Bait on a #4 Treble. Had to hug the shoreline on the way in as the Wind really kicked in gear around 11AM. Nice folks nice day and hopefully nice fish fry!!!
