Freezing temperature to catch Blues

Hello,

I am planning to catch some blues this Friday night, I know the temperature is going to be around mid twenties and my friend wants to catch a monster at Grapevine by sandbass point, what do you guys think? Should I go or stay warm at home? I have some frozen perch for bait and deadred spray............

we were fishing at the dam and the water has been off for a while...the water is really cold...fresh bait is what you need
