Shad at flagpole park

I live a couple of hours away in East Texas. I need some shad and they have been in real short supply here. Has there been any there? Thanks in advance.

i usually catch my bait at LOP when I fish Sandlin. I will let you know if I find any local bait in your area. I have been fishing Tawakoni lately and catch all my bait when I get there.
