Just for my edification, what differentiates a cat fishing boat from any other fishing boat?

Nuttin- but I like deep vs with high sides for fishing in winter weather in the wind and big waves - helps keep you and gear in the boat and the waves out......and when fighting a 40 50or 60 pounder I'd like to have high side walls to lean against if needed. I also prefer dual console with full windshield............

BigPoppa007 does this every winter. It's his annual thread and he is just getting started on it.

I like this "boat"
A considerable amount of people on this forum would gladly use that boat if they didn't have one. Tom would need a larger version with another seat for his client.

I use those same type of weights on my rigs. What he calls draggin weights we call em slinky weights. I used to make them when I was broke, now I buy mine from MT Pockets here on the forum. They have a web site and I buy all my lead from them. Good price and local seller...can't beat that!

Those are some nice boats, but it's hard to beat the room or rough water handling of a falcon.

Had this old beauty for a while before the OMC electric shift went to hell and the floor fell apart. Was super fun to fish. Super rough to ride.

Those are great boats. I always wanted one of them, but never pulled the trigger.

I've always wanted a Falcon but with an outboard. Wish they still made them or something like them. They Blazer Bay is an awesome boat, and would be perfect for me if they made a 20' version. Still debating on a Northwest style boat or not.
I'd love a walleye style boat too but Geez, they're proud of those things! Maybe in a few years someone will make a 20' walkthru windshield boat with a big livewell and well thought out storage around the 30k range. I'll keep dreaming! The G3 Angler series is close.

What good would that do you if your never around to use it? Guess your buddies would have to bear the burden of keeping her slimed up.
