Does anyone know where to buy tape or deep water nets less than $180?

I learned the hard way that a Fitec GS 1500 taped net is not made for saltwater. The tape started coming off on the 3rd throw. When I got home and took it out of the bucket it had glued itself into a giant expensive ball.

It probably doesn't help that I caught 43 hard heads on my first throw. bang

So I see the one linked was 1lb per foot and I found a 1.5lb per foot for $70 more. Is it worth $70 to get that extra weight? I've read taped Nets fall considerably slower in the first place.
