tawakoni tournament

2 day tournament on tawakoni Oct 8th and 9th . I am not hosting it I'm just passing on the info from Brandon Clayton

The classic will be held on Lake Tawakoni October 8&9

Entry fee is 200$ per team
40$ optional big fish
Sign ups will be 6-630am on Saturday
Weigh inn on Saturday will start at 300 you must be in line by 330
Weigh inn on Sunday will be at 2 and in line by 230

If you have not fished a tournament this season and wish to fish the classic you must pay the 25$ membership fee and a 20$ convenience fee since no tournaments were fished through the year....

Lines in at 7am and out at 2pm Sunday

And the lake looked really good yesterday Johnny!!! Had a great eenin scoutin with the wife and boys... Marked some really nice fish in a lot of different areas with water surface temps ranging from 77 to 83... And I won't elaborate on this but also rolled into an area and witnessed some toads getting yanked in...

Looks like another decent front coming at the end of the week should be nice fishing weather , I can't wait ! .....toads you say hmmmm

You luckey suckers, I was out there last week and the bigger blues are moving. I was seeing fish on sonar
everywhere. Wish I could make it to meet some of you guys. Good luck and post plenty of pics. I was actually trying to scout some for this
tournament, but have to cover for a guy this weekend. HAd 5 fish over 15 lbs on the day. I have never caught anything bigger than 30 lbs by myself, so i plan to get out there and do it soon.

Thanks Rick it was 2 tough days on the water and my head is sun burnt bad You had us worried we kinda thought the shallow bite might turn on . Im sure you will seek revenge on us at one of the other ones you make.after we got the 33 Sunday I told Randy to ask if the steak offer was still on the table lol .

Man I had an awesome time and took a beating on that lake. Drifted , anchored, splat fished the Commorants. I mean I tried it all. When my no cursing wife text for an update and I'm still at zero and I get a ([censored])!!! the pressure was on . LOL but Sunday finally produced my only fish in 8' of water. looking at contours of Waco as we speak!!!! Thanks for the great two days
