Middle September fishing report for Richland Chambers Lake; - 09/15/16 09:30 PM

Wednesday September 14th
Fishing has slowed down considerable, the Sand bass are hard to find and when you find them it's a lots of smaller fish.
We have lots of Blue cat in the smaller variety hanging off the deeper points.
I'm hoping for a turnaround when the weather officially cools off and I mean Jacket weather.
For most of my fishing life the fall fishing has been equal to a short spring like feeding frenzy if nothing happens this fall it will have been four years sense we had a really good fall bite.
We know we have numbers of smaller Hybrids and a pretty fair population of sand bass now.
So with any luck by something like November we should have some sure enough feeding fish to catch.
In the meantime time we're catching a few sand bass and a few catfish.
If you would like to go fishing call.

Bob Holmes longest running fishing guide on the lake and still the Striper Lake Record Holder.
