Also noticed Ft Worth store was stocking more Surf Rods / Bank Rods. Added a few brands including Penn and 2-3 other brands.

It is a very good price on the reels. Which model do you guys prefer? I will surely put mine on some pro Angler rods.

I want to thank BigPoppa for the tip. I just went to Cabellas and purchased 2 Salt Striker reels at a 80 dollar discount. Even better than that I had enough Cabellas points to get the reels free. That should tell everyone one thing: I spend too much money at Cabellas.

Oh Ya.! I prefer the Baitfeed - a little beefier - but I have both plus a few metal body ones they discontinued a Cpl years ago.

Anyone use the Salt Striker spinning rods? Nice discount on them as well.

I've never tried them. I like ProAnglers and MeatHunters.

How long is the sale lasting? Planning on going and grabbing some today but don't wanna make the trip if it's not still going on

Well I fish for channel cats mainly and spooled my new reels with 30 pound power pro. The channel cats at fork really get into the brush quick when you set the hook. I own and use pro angler rods and they are the best rods I have ever owned. I was really into bass fishing before health problems and since then have used them almost exclusively.
