How deep were they? Use shad? Appreciate two cents - trying to find same on grapevine with my boys - haven't had as much luck in this hot weather!!

Most come in about 24ft on cut gizzards this trip. It really just depends day to day I have been catching anywhere from 17 to 30 ft the last couple of weeks.
