Agreed. I wish Palestine would put out stringers like that.
Katie Woods still only one open. At the rate the water is coming out, Trawwick should open in about a week. All others will be end of July if we're lucky. All fish caught with live 3" shad they seemed to prefer live over cut the last 3 times out. They where holding at 20 to 25 feet in 35 ft of water on hump and breakline in front of Rockledge park. Also using lite tackle as in light weights to get the bait down. 3/8 oz. egg sinkers,I know it sounds crazy but more weight decreased the bite. We caught about 60 kept 30.

I didn't know there were any humps over there. I thought it pretty much dropped straight down.
There is a small hump on the break that is normally 39ft to 24ft. It's small maybe 10 to 15ft in diameter. In front of emergency spillway. Don't have gps cords or would give you that.
We will be headed out Wednesday and Thursday to see if we can find those cats and tie them up. Water should be 3.5 to 4ft lower than last week see if it makes a difference.

I figured GV would be crawling with boats this weekend.
Good mess of eaters!
Fished today, they shut the water release down and it put the bite pretty much off. Caught 3 eaters and about 30 10 inch. only shad we found was behind Scotts Marina way back up Cable Branch. Looked like they might be spawning again. And just to tell you our one trick is to suspend a 1/2 gallon plastic jar with 1/2in holes drilled in it weighted and filled with chum. It draws the cats to the boat. You just have to hunt to find the eaters you want and we catch very few channels doing this in deepper water.

I knew that was too good to last mini me and I were planning to hit g vine. Something is definitely wrong if the shad weren't plentiful
