What kind of structure should I be focusing on finding good numbers of fish in a flooded lake? Feeder creeks, rocky shoreline/ rip rap? Or will the floodwaters have them scattered?

I can tell you we fished the mouth of a creek, 20ish fow and shallow flats
Where I could see plenty of fish on Sunday-
But didn't do well until we hit the rocks of the dam at 2
In the afternoon when it was in the upper 90's-
2-4 fow-

Lake wright Patman has been flooded for about 6 months and this is what I have been doing find an opening in the flooded timber in a shady place and chum it.I do this in about 5 places then go back and fish the first place. I don't go straight to the bottom I fish catalpa worms and cheese punch bait with a slip float in twenty ft.of water start letting line out real slow about an inch or two at a time many times the rod tip or the line will start to move way before it reaches bottom and if it happens two or three times then that's where I set my float.
