I've never seen gizzard shad for sale at any bait shop, ever. Not saying they aren't out there, I've just never seen them. And if you find some, I'm 99% sure they would be dead. Shad don't survive in captivity.

Fisherman's Supply in Garland has them from time to time. might call them.

Fresh caught shad will out perform frozen shad. Some people are more dedicated than other!

Hello Ranger, I know they have some gizzard shad at H-Mart off 35E & George Bush, it's the big asian grocery store.
