I know many of you are fans of the Academy H2O Express Bibs/Parka. I love this interests for its price/effectiveness but I hate the plastic zippers! I took one of my parkas with a broken zipper and had her sew in metal zipper and it turned out great. I really didn't even know if it could be done when I took it in but she didn't act like it was an unusual request.
Hopefully they will be slimmed up again soon.

Not a problem, I have hand sewn metal zipper on many articles that had plastic ones break. I just sew them on top of the plastic ones, never had a problem.
