When do the Big Blues usually go Deep? - 02/21/16 06:34 AM
Been cruising alot here recently looking for Big Blues but not finding that many on Sonar.
Getting some fish in Shallow water just anchoring and fishing blind.

Dang, So now I have been hearing they are in the shallows, then as it warms up and begins to stay in the 70-85 degree range, do they stay shallow?

I fish a lot in south Tx. They never really moved too the deeper holes here... Drift fishing was and still is the best bet. Covering lots of water. Once I got a bite or picked up a couple they were usually all in that depth. Never caught anything deeper than 40ft.

I only caught fish in deep water one weekend this winter, the rest have been 4 to 30 ft.
i found a big fish in 10 ft of water broke my line 40 degrees and also I saw a big catfish in the shallow water at lake whitney december he just swam off and it plowed the water probably flathead
