Pending Calaveras Junior Angler Blue Catfish Record !

Congratulations go out to Nathan Mosley 7 years of age for catching a SUPER NICE Blue Catfish and a pending Junior Angler Lake Calaveras Record. The length of the fish was 33.25",Girth 29.90",and the official weight of the fish was 21.43 Lbs. Nathan was fishing with his father and brother on Lake Calaveras when the big Blue hit Nathan's pole. The fish was caught on Big Marv's Cheese Bait. Paper work was completed and will be sent to Parks&Wildlife for Certification. Again Congratulations to Nathan on catching a RECORD FISH!

Reds have started staging behind the wall. Will not be long until they hit the area of the outtake (discharge) to be in warmer water. After this latest cold front the Reds will be in the discharge area of the lake. Most of the discharge area is in off limits waters!.
