Tickey Creek Park?

Does anyone have any input on fishing Tickey Creek park from the bank for blues? I put a kayak in a week ago and noticed some drop offs close off the pointe off sonar but I don't have have access to a yak this weekend so I figured that I would go back to my roots and bank it. Lol gonna face that south wind that has been blowing for a couple days
