Do you really get less hang ups? What weight do you run? 1 oz 1.5 oz 2 oz ?

Run 1-2 oz depending on wind. Only time I remember hanging up is in the trees that I didn't expect to drift across. I am sure I lost some in some boulders, but over all they work for me

I use 2 oz. and have reel good luck with them! I also make them myself.

I use my own homemade 2 oz slinky weights with sinker slides from bottom dwellers tackle. I think sometimes the slides be hung up.

Are you guys running them on sliders like Brian or with swivels but as sliders or on a leader (3 way).

I use 1.5 and 2oz, very seldom hang up. I run them on our sliders.

What size paracord do I need if I'm using buckshot for weights? I'm going to start making my own. I'm just glad I found something new to make. I've been running out of things to make lately.

The sliders work good as long as your moving. If your not drifting fast enough and your using a Santee rig your float will come to the top,of course you have to almost be completely still for that to happen not good. Weight easy to make, thought about using swivels before I purchased the slides but the slides work great.

I use the slides so I can quickly change to disc sinkers for anchoring up.

These are great but their too expensive...plus I prefer having the sinker slide with the clip so I can quickly change to anchor weights.

I ordered the stuff to make slinky weights like the smooth operators and will include a small loop so that I can attach them with clip.

Just finished pouring some egg sinkers. Time to make some weights.
