Okuma Battle Cat??? - 10/31/15 09:03 PM

Saw this rod on amazon the other day, seems super sturdy and looks pretty slick too. It is a bit pricey at $85 but was wondering if anyone's used it?

PA's are $45 at a dealer. After shipping they are a $65-$70 rod.

I just can't bring myself to pay $75-$79- $89 per Rod. If TWC rods had a decent price I'd try those.

I've got several of them and they're one of my favorite rods. They've got a sensitive tip and plenty of backbone. I found them for $60 on Amazon a couple years ago.

It would be much easier to make a decision if I could find one for $60. Thanks for the info though. I'll probably scoop one up soon. And maybe a PA now that I know a dealer's close by!

I have rods for drifting / punch bait / light weight bait fishing / cork fishing / long distance bait rods / heavy weight winter fishing / circle hook fishing/ live bait fishing and we have rods we use in heavy current up this way hmmm and the reels vary as well... all of my friend s do as well...may seem extreme to some but personally I dont believe in a 1 kind of rod only 2cents and most of our rods are from 50 to 150. a piece most good bait cast are 90-250 a reel 2cents

That's my goto rod.... Its my favorite because it's super sensitive but has a ton of backbone. And they're pretty cheap

I'm probally gonna replace 2 Whuppin Sticks with the Rippin Lips in near future. I hate eyelet inserts cuz I always lose one per Rod somehow.

He doesn't need a home anyways. He spends all his time in his vehicle or his Lund.
