It's a good lake, but you have to do your due diligence. They're in there, but you have to look for them. The north end of the lake is generally shallow, but I don't know now with all this rain. I usually fish from the bank there due to the fact that I'm still only a boat owner in my dreams. I've fished it from boats with a couple folks and there are some good spots. Drifting the bridge area seems to be productive from what I have been able to see. Shad can be tough, but not impossible around the boat ramps. Highview is a good launch.

There is some good fish there. Highview launch is good so is Loves. Bridge area can be good. We have good success drifting from dam area back across humps or creek channel. Shad are best bait and can be found around ramps.
