No Wake buoys?

How many lakes do you fish (and/or have noticed) have "No Wake" zones posted at Marinas/Landings/Swim areas, etc? My question is: Why are there no such buoys at Lake Fork?

I wondered the same thing. I only noticed no wake painted on a bridge.

They have them by the public boat ramps I use out here. 515/17 and 154.

You should probably ask this question in the bass section. My guess is they where there at one time and broke off during past floods.

On a slightly different topic, I wonder why more big blues are not caught at Fork? I know the record is more than 70#.

I fish Fork all the time with fresh cut shad and bream. I have caught one 4 lb blue in 4 years and it was on liver. It's usually a channel that wins the catfish classic. It blows my mind.

By code of Federal Reg any bridge, boat ramp or dock by definition is a no wake area. Could not find my rules of the road from coast guard class so not sure what else is included in no wake zone. They do not have to be buoyed off for a game warden to enforce it.
The state of Texas under clean water act has adopted the Fed rules of road. So this will cover all bodies of water open to the public in Texas.
