Should verify this before you drive some ramps being reported as closed today.

Lake Lewisville, in The Colony, Stewart Creek ramp is open (water is near the top edge of the ramp though unless it's dropped some since last night, which might make loading/unloading interesting). However the loading dock is closed (under several feet of water, the top of the rail is submerged at one point).
If you go, both sides of the ramp have rock around them for many feet, but you can go around either side of the turnaround area (I'd recommend the east side, left of the ramp looking at the lake), there is a little cove that comes up close to the ramp turnaround spot, and might be easy to beach there, didn't see rocks there the other day and not sure just how shallow the angle is, but looks steeper than the west side, go slow and careful. The west side is a very shallow angle, so you probably can't get beached far enough to get near the water's edge before grounding hard.

Dalrock closed, considered private property now. (Robertson Park was sold and is private property...for now.)

Re: Any DFW Lakes have Ramps open? - 05/17/15 04:37 AM

this is from "city of lewisville"

AS OF MONDAY, MAY 15, 2015: High water levels at Lewisville Lake, and the expectation of more rain this week, have forced the temporary closure of day use areas at Lewisville Lake Park until further notice. Rental Facilities are also affected by the closure of Lake Park, the Conner and Pike Pavilion's are unavailable for reservations until further notice.

This temporary closure includes the swimming beach, picnic areas and boat ramps at Lake Park and the boat ramp at Tower Bay. The athletic fields, golf course, campground and fishing barge at Lake Park are not being closed at this time.

The closure is expected to last at least several weeks until the lake level has lowered and any needed repairs can be made to Lewisville Lake Park.

That's why I keep that little boat with the tiller I can just drag it down to the water as long as I have a place to park my truck I'm good.
