Well I'm taking off tomorrow and I'm booked Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday is open for private or party boat trips. Need 3 anglers minimum to confirm a trip.
We have 5 seats open this Saturday at this time and Sunday open.

I just need 3 anglers to confirm a trip on Lavon this Thursday and Friday.

I have been shoping today. We now have new rods & reels. Give me a call and we'll go test their limits.

It may be a little rainy this weekend but we'll just put the top up and catch better and wetter fish.

That is all they are talking about you showed them things they thought only happened in the movies or in their wildest dreams! Went over to their place the next day totin my portable deep fryer in hand cooked them up some of mamas secret spice corn meal dipped fillets MMM mmm They never ate no BLUES before they been pond fishin from the bank. These Dudes put an engine in my truck did an excellent job so I thought I would reward them with a real fishing trip graduate them from the pond to a pro guide. Might of SPOILED them a little though introducing them to the likes of LARRY LAWLEY.

Speaking of LARRY LAWLEY I have been fishing for big cats for many years. To me a big thrill would see someone who never had a big catfish on, have at least one get off. Well everyone on Larrys Boat Got plenty of Eaters lost at least one big fish to brag about! I thought I was done with stories about the one that got off. In 64 years of chasin the big ones I AINT never had a guide tell everyone real in 15 lines, move all the coolers, chairs, and stuff, out of the way, start the engine and go after that big fish I had on. The big spinning real was singing line off over and over, the CAPT. was going forward, and backward, that MONSKER FISH was going from stump to stump, before that big circle hook broke off! I turned around and looked! Them newbies all had a look on their face like they had front row tickets to the best show in town! mustsa been too because YOU SHOUD BE HEARIN THEM DUDES TELL THIS STORY!!

The rain has caused a few cancelations. I'm still going so call me if you want to join me.

Thanks for the great trip today Larry - that 34# blue was a lot of fun!! Maybe we'll do again some day.

My good friend Petter, Dusty and I are going out in the morning for a research and development trip. We will be chasing sand bass. We may be doing a lot less catfishing for awhile.

Cap Larry. So what are the catfish stories like? Crappie and Sand Bass on
Bardwell, they are shallow! Channel cats are still shallow blues are on the move! Marina is full of folks no one catching much. Fella gave 19 nice crappie away to big Mike Sun, he caught them all in less than 2 foot of water!

We were looking for sandy action on the lake yesterday. There was none to be found. Heavy overcast may have been the reason. Peter said he thought he got a bump. It might have turned on just before sun down but we were long gone by then. Looks like I will be chasing them blues awhile longer.
