Got my new boat! Xpress Yukon 18 -photo heavy

I have had it out on LL 3 times now.
I really like this boat. It feels real solid (1/8 inch aluminum).
The deck is diamondplate 1/8 with a non grip surface.

Oh, as far as the name. "Superfuzz" is a classic guitar effect used by the Who. But most importantly the second album by "Mudhoney". I am selling Mudhoney, so I named it after the next album. (Inside silliness).

Either way. I can't wait for winter fishing.

Right now Lewisville is a major stump hunt. I am looking for a nice place to put in tomorrow. Ugh.

Oh, hey, I just wanted to let you know that I had a great experience with Wild Bill Boats in Mead OK. Bill is great, and is son Shane did the prep and rigging. They both love boats, and they are both regular folks. They walked me through everything. I felt like I was getting the run around in Lewisville at the boat dealers. They mostly wanted to sell you what they had on the floor for the price it was marked. This was custom ordered, just the way I wanted it. For once I feel like I didn't compromise.

Nice set up. You will like that 150 Yamaha. Pretty good on fuel as long as your not running wide open.

I was scared to death about that. It is really sipping the fuel. I did the break in routine as recommended by the manual. 2 days of running, burned less than 1/4 of a 30 gallon tank, lots of running time. I was very happy, considering that is breakin.

I have been running over a few curbs, the beam is 102", the trailer is 8 foot. Being a big heavy guy. I am glad that is does not tip as I walk around. hahahah

I am hoping so. Winter fishing is so good. I needed to be a little safer and warmer.

I felt like compared to the other Express dealers, they were WAY more down to earth. They talked to you like a person, not a possible sale.

Either way. Their prices are better, and they sell you what you need. Nothing more.

Cool! I bought a new Sea Ark Coastal 200V with a center console, that has the deck plate floor with bedliner on it (they call it RhinoHide) I love it, I have a 115 Mercury Optimax on it. It's good on fuel too. You will like that boat for fishing

You might want to get some gravel for your side yard. Otherwise that beautiful boat might get stuck in the mud.

Bring it over here and let me install some stuff for you. It usually takes me 2-3 stabs to get it like I want it so I'll make sure there's an extra few set of holes for everything. Then we can go rub some stumps and dress it up for you. That way you won't feel so bad when something happens.

I know you are making a joke but there is some truth to it. I am taking forever to get everything installed on my new boat being extra careful to get everything right. On my old boat I would have just slapped everything on it in no time.

As far ar bumping stumps. Lewisville is gonna take care of that. It is like a mine field.

Lewisville has got some hidden dangers...especially when low, but it doesn't hold a candle to the East Texas lakes. Rayburn, Fork, Tawakoni...any of these would give you a new appreciation of hidden timber.
