Bait dealer? (Waco area)

I am hoping to find someone who sells shad in the Waco area for a catfishing trip this coming weekend. I have been all over (from bank) with the cast net and have had no luck in 3 days. My arm is about to fall off. Willing to give in and buy some. Gizzards, thread fins... I'll buy what you have. Don't want any of that pre frozen stuff you find everywhere. Can anybody help me out?

I found Jerry Gill. He does not have any today but has it often. He said 5 dollars a pound. 254-981-9175. Located in Hewitt.

I tried Jerry Gill on Facebook a few times now and haven't had a response. May be because he's out? I'm pretty exhausted, I was out again today throwing the net and came back empty. Hopefully something comes along soon

We didn't catch any bait in the throw net all day Wednesday except 4 tiny shad. Maybe our net sinks too slow.

where did you throw? theres a place u can net big gizzards all year long on waco.

If I was in that position on that lake I'd call Bubba Minchew 254-722-3441 get you some lessons and catch fish. if you can't catch bait you sure will struggle catching fish. Just a hint.

Give me a call. Catching bait on Waco can be a chore, even a struggle at times. I don't mess with the bubbles at all.

When I can't get any shad. i mix up me some nice dough bait and go get me a couple of carp. Then it is on.

Why is where you cast for shad such a secret. Generally, fisherman help each other out.
