Problems with Tawakoni

Goodmorning ladies and gentlemen!
Recently my dad and I have been fishing here off the bank at tawakoni, but seem to not have any luck! Is anyone else having this problem? We’ve tried worms and shad so far, what’s up with the fish this year!?

When I go to tawakoni and bank fish I usually will use Danny kings punch bait in all flavors and have good success with it most of the time

Fish a wind blown bank and try to fish that bank on the 2nd or 3rd + day of the same wind.

I would not give up trying to fish with fresh shad that was caught either today or yesterday… On the bottom or try fishing with a prepared bait such as a punch bait.

If you aren't having luck try moving spots until you find the fish. Sometimes even moving just 10-15 yards can make a difference. Try and target structure, preferably flooded grass, but also rocks and timber.

Not sure what kind of rig you're using but I use the santee cooper rig, basically just a carolina rig with a float above the hook.
