Lake, Channel, or Blue?

I would usually be crappie or bass fishing but I expect tough bite with all the rain. So could use some help on how to catch some cats. Not planning on eating just want to catch. I heard the ramps are closed too. Hope store bought buffalo will work. Thx for the tips.

Newly flooded green grass, bushes, trees, etc. Even if it's 1ft deep.

Eric is spot on with what he said shallow when the rise is on. As soon as it starts to fall then go in the edge of the timber of the flooded lake. They seem to stay deeper and near the main lake when the fall starts.
