Benbrook lake water temp? - 02/14/18 08:57 PM
I'll be heading to benbrook in about an hour or so...haven't been fishing in a while, needing some relaxation time lol. The wind is coming out of the south, was debating on where to fish..I'll be fishing from the bank...has anybody been out there recently? Was wondering if anybody has been out there recently and if they remembered what the surface water temp was...I'm debating whether to fish off the point in mustang or to fish over by longhorn park.....I'm leaning towards fishing off mustang...I'll be using a balloon rig to get my bait out further than I can cast..and the winds been coming from the SSW and S...I was just curious as to what the surface temp has been lately..and any tips on where to look for bait if anybody has any ideas...I was thinking about walking down to Richardson slough where the pump station is...But I'm not sure if they pump water into the lake this time of year...I know in the spring time shad can be caught by the hundreds...Lol any info is appreciated
