The Lake Fork Anglers 21st tournament of 2016 was Thursday Oct 20 out of Oak Ridge Marina. Next tournament is Nov 3rd.

Registration will start at 6 AM and end at 6:30 Am. Fishing starts at 7 AM and runs until 3 PM ....

Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

Results from Nov 3:

Like last week club members, after a late start for most because of the storms that hit about 6:30 AM while most wanted to launch. While the storms ended the rain and wind did not. It finally warmed a little around noon, but the wind never died down.

Fish were caught on drop shots, shaky heads, C-rigs, and crank baits for the most part.

1st place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins with 8 fish for 22.08 and the 7.41 lunker.
We only count the five largest.
2nd place went to Frank Wasson of Emory also with 5 fish for 13.94 and the 5.57 lunker.
3rd place went to Brian Dick of Alba with 7 fish for 10.83 pounds and a 6.03 lunker.

We paid 6 places and had 33 anglers fishing and caught 202 bass and some of them were quality slots. Only one skunked.
First the first time ever there were no ties and every place from 1st to 33rd earning members 50 to 18 points.

How are those weights even possible. Because we measure and release, and record on a laminated sheet.

Way to goes guys!

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com. or PM me on here.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $12 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a some co-anglers and we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.
Actually none of our guests has sat one out as yet. And we are also looking for co-anglers.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them. This week more than a few slayed them
