Results from July 21:

Even though Fox News said it didn't reach 100 they were not including temps from Lake Fork. It was 102 here. So because of that we had our version of "blue flu" with about 20 members taking the day off. 30 fished with mixed results including some real nice bags and a bunch of lunkers all caught in less than 4' on top waters, square bills and c-rigs.

.

1st place went to Curt Blount again with 7 fish for 19.86 and the 7.56 lunker.
We only count the five largest.
2nd place went to Charlie Abresch with 4 fish for 14.03 and a 5.45 lunker.
3rd place went to Chuck Roy with 5 fish for 12.19 pounds and a 5.14 lunker.
4th place went to Jack White again with 5 fish for 11.42 and a 5.25 lunker
5th place went to Randy Steele with 5 fish for 11.08 with a 5.57 lunker.
6th place went to Bill Ailes again with 4 fish for 9.42 with a 6.15 lunker..

We paid 5 places and had 30 anglers fishing and caught 66 fish and lot of them were quality slots. Seven anglers skunked again in this tournament. Some had a lot of success while had none. It is Lake Fork

How are those weights even possible. Because we measure and release, and record on a laminated sheet.

Curt Blount broke his all time bag weight again with 19.86 lb and tied his all time club lunker with another 7.56.
Charlie Abresch caught his all time club (LFA only) lunker at 5.45 and all time club bag with 14.03 lb.
Steve Chick broke his all time club luunker with a 6.03.
Chuck Roy broke hos 2016 lunker with a 5.14 and all time club bag with a 12.19.
Mike Schupp broke his all time club bag with a 5.64 on 3 fish.
Randy Steele broke his all time club lunker with a 5.57 and bag with 11.08.

Way to goes guys!

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com. or PM me on here.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $13 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a some boaters who will also fill in as co-anglers if needed and we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.
Actually none of our guests has sat one out as yet. And we are also looking for co-anglers.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them. This week more than a few slayed them
