RHBC Bonham Results and Pictures!

The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our fourth members only tournament of 2016 on Saturday May 14th at Lake Bonham. Continuing our trend we had another great turnout of 33 boats which is a bunch for a lake the size of Bonham. The day was cloudy cool and windy. Fishing was pretty good overall with the bass anywhere from the spawn to moving to their off shore summer spots and water temps in the mid 70's. Nine limits were weighed in. When the dust cleared, Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace won the day with a five fish limit weighing 16.95. Reigning AOY's Jason Hunnicutt and Travis Reaves weighed in the days biggest bass with a 7.69 beast. Our apologies with the small number of pictures this month but our resident photographers the Scheels were painting cars instead of fishing (crappy hail) so it took a while to find a substitute. Cameron Laing and Patrick Sharp weighed 4 for 6.59



Joe Ruiz and Paul Villarreal weighed a limit for 7.68.



James Renfro fished solo and weighed 4 for 8.04



Bobby Graves and Robert Hitt weighed 4 for 8.35



Finishing in the toughest position in tournament fishing, first out of the money were Justin and Jeff Garrett with 5 for 13.65

Finishing sixth with only 4 fish for 13.89 were Mark Werner and Vince Burt. If a team ever needed number 5...



Finishing fifth with 5 for 14.07 was Team Havin Fun, Chris Atkinson and myself.



Not pictured unfortunately were our fourth and third place teams. Fourth place went to Jesse Simpson and Chad Grace with with 5 for 15.58 which included a 5.33 kicker. Third place went to Jason Hadley and Brandon Doherty with 5 for 16.11, that included a 5.04

Second place went to Tommy and Tony Climer who weighed in 5 for 16.25



Here are your winners. Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace weighed a 5 fish limit for 16.95 that included a 6.35 kicker. Congratulations guys!



Thanks to Kenny Bunch for doing registration and taking on the burden of fishing with Jerry Brown. Thanks to Dale Rettman and Kelly Millhollon for a great job at weigh in. Our next tournament is Saturday June 11th on Lake Lavon. Before that we have our Kids Fishing Derby coming up on Saturday June 4th. See everyone at both!
