Well I doubt the guides are complaining now because the bass have finally starting moving in their post spawn mode and are eating too. Out of 33 only 2 were skunked and some real nice bags were weighed.

1st place went to Bob Roberts with a 12 keeper fish at 24.00 pounds anchored THE 7.84 lunker
We only count the five largest.
2nd place went to Stan Norton with 9 fish for 17.69 with a 6.04 lunker .
3rd place went to Jack White with 7 fish for 13.12 pounds and a 4.64 lunker.
4th place went to Steve Chick with 9 fish for 9.74 and a 5.35 lunker
5th place went to Bill Ailes with 5 fish for 9.52 with a 7.03 lunker.
6th place went to John Berech with 4 fish for 9.42 with a 4.837 lunker..

We paid 6 places and had 33 anglers fishing and caught 125 fish again and lot of them were quality slots. One guy reported in had a big over break off the back hook of his yellow magic.

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $13 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a some boaters who will also fill in as co-anglers if needed and we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.
Actually none of our guests has sat one out as yet.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them. This week more than a few slayed them
